Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SDET with a strong background in the banking sector to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality assurance, automation testing, and software development. They will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for banking applications.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Ensure the quality and performance of banking applications through continuous testing and feedback.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability, maintainability, and scalability.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in SDET or automation testing roles.
• Strong experience in automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
• Solid understanding of banking domain and financial application workflows.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• ISTQB Certification is a plus.
