Store Supervisor/ Assistant Manager - Only from Diagnostics Stores and Inventory

Role Brief: As an Assistant Manager Stock Control you are essential for maintaining an efficient and organized inventory management system. With the constant flow of goods and products in and out, it is crucial to have someone who can effectively monitor stock levels, track deliveries, and ensure accuracy in stock records. You are responsible for ensuring that the right products are available in the right quantities at the right time to meet laboratory/department demand.

Responsibilities:

1. a) Support the effective management of the internal supply chain from receiving, processing and dispatching to store to support the maximising of store performance
2. b) Lead by example, engage and drive the team to maximize performance and deliver the highest standard of Operational & Inventory compliance, productivity and profitability
3. c) Responsible for checking the new stock that comes into the store to make sure the paperwork is in order, number of items received match the purchase order, no damages, longer expiry dates and no other discrepancies between purchase order requirements to actual stock delivery.
4. d) Responsible to immediately intimate Manager Material Management if found of any discrepancies of the new stock shipment.
5. e) Responsible to record the new stock shipments on LIMS software against the purchase order.
6. f) Responsible to deliver the delivery docket to Material Management / Purchase department within 24 hours of receipt of the same.
7. g) Responsible to despatch the stock to other laboratory locations on-time and in secure packaged condition.
8. h) Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
9. i) Coordinate with material management department to ensure timely and accurate replenishment of stock, avoiding stockouts and overstock situations.
10. j) Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures, including stock rotation, first-in-first-out (FIFO) principles, and proper storage practices.
11. k) Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory management policies and procedures.
12. l) Work closely with the central warehouse team / regional lab supervisors to oversee the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
13. m) Monitor and track slow-moving or obsolete stock and report to Manager - Material Management to minimize financial losses.
14. n) Generate accurate reports on stock levels, stock movements, and stock valuation on a regular basis for management review.
15. o) Continuously improve inventory management processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize stock availability.
