Candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

• Upgrade/migrate ~400 Windows desktop OS systems hosted on Azure Virtual desktop, VMware Horizon, and Hyper V platforms to Windows 11.
• Assess and document current Windows and VMware server utilization and function; plan and execute consolidation/decommission as appropriate
• Analyze and optimize the Domain Controller and DNS server footprint, utilization, and overall architecture.
• Accelerate the OS upgrade of infra and application servers running EOL Windows Server OS (2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2012R2)
• Improve accuracy and completeness of Windows Server and VMware inventory in CMDB/Asset management in ServiceNow
• Progress on the migration of VMware vSphere environment from on-prem perpetual licenses to cloud subscriptions
• Review and improve email security policies and configurations within ProofPoint (DMARC, whitelisting, external banners, etc)
