Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced SaaS Business Development Manager to spearhead sales, product development, client acquisition, and account management efforts in the IT services and e-commerce sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling software solutions to SMEs and enterprise clients, especially in e-commerce. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales and Business Growth: o Identify and target new business opportunities in the e-commerce and SME segments. o Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and increase revenue. o Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent performance. 2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: o Drive end-to-end client acquisition processes, including lead generation, negotiations, and closure. o Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention. 3. Product Development Support: o Collaborate with the product team to provide market feedback and identify new features or product enhancements. o Act as a bridge between client requirements and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery. 4. Market Research and Strategy: o Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities. o Develop sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of SMEs and enterprises in the e-commerce domain. 5. Team Collaboration: o Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to drive aligned goals. o Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and productivity. Key Requirements: 1. Experience: o Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in SaaS sales and business development. o Proven expertise in selling software solutions to e-commerce companies or SMEs is essential. 2. Skills: o Strong sales acumen with exceptional negotiation and closing skills. o Experience in account management and building long-term client relationships. o Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management platforms. o Knowledge of AI tools and their applications will be a significant advantage. 3. Education: o Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). 4. Personality: o Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. o Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
