Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Oversee journal entries, ledger management, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Ensure proper recording of financial transactions in the accounting system.

2. Accounts Payable

• Process invoices, payments, and vendor reconciliations.
• Monitor on accounts payable to ensure timely collections.

3. Financial Reporting

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist in preparing cash flow statements and other financial summaries.

4. Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., GST, VAT, TDS, etc.).
• Support the preparation of tax filings and liaise with tax consultants as needed.

5. Audit Support

• Assist in internal and statutory audits by providing necessary documentation.
• Resolve audit queries promptly and implement audit recommendations.

6. Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in accounting operations.
• Support the implementation of automated systems to improve efficiency.

7. Team Support

• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial alignment.

Preferred candidate profile

• proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle Net Suite, Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office

(especially Excel).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
