Role Description :

This is a full-time hybrid role for an IoT Device Testing professional at Tringapps, Inc-The role involves testing IoT devices, developing test cases, and ensuring the quality of the products-While the role is based in Chennai, some work from home is acceptable.

Required Skill Set for IoT Testing :

- 3-8 years experience in Quality Assurance of web applications, Mobile applications, and IOT

testing and Automation.

- Strong knowledge of querying in different databases (SQL, Azure Table storage) and IOT

concepts.

- Must have experience in testing IOT devices.

- Must have good knowledge of selenium and API Testing.

- Must have good experience in development, executing, and maintaining automation test scripts.

- Good knowledge of Web service/API testing tools like SOAP UI, Postman, Fiddler, and Swagger.

- Good experience in browser and device compatibility testing.

- Strong knowledge of testing principles, concepts, and techniques

- Experience in agile software testing

- Experience working in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) environments.

- Experienced in creating Test Metrics for status reporting.

- Experience in working with test management tools to record test results, and log and manage defects.

Azure DevOps a plus (previously TFS, VSTS)

- Basic programming skills in OOPS

- In-depth understanding of industry standards and company policies

Key Deliverables/Duties :

- Analyze user stories for full non-ambiguous requirements managing defects by investigating, reporting, and tracking to resolution.

- Communicating with developers and PM to solve issues Writing test plans, complete with time

estimates for completion by yourself and/or others.

- Writing and reviewing testing plans, test cases.

- Performing functional, regression and End-to-end testing.

- Communicating and working with business owners to write and implement related test plans.

- Estimating the testing process.

- Testing and qualifying builds for quality release.

- Managing detected defects and be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust

log of all testcases and test results.

- Identifying and managing the risks proactively.

- Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand.
