Sourcing Merchandiser

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sourcing Merchandiser to join us. As a Sourcing Merchandiser for Garment Trims and Accessories, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of garment trims and accessories to meet our company's requirements and standards.

Job Title: Sourcing Merchandiser - Garment Trims and Accessories (e.g. woven label, printed label, hangtags, carry bags (paper & cotton), tag seal, badges, hangers, etc)

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and source reliable suppliers for garment trims and accessories.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and production, to ensure seamless integration of trims and accessories into the operational process.
• Manage supplier relationships, resolve any supply chain issues, and ensure compliance with ethical and sustainable practices.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate on cost-reduction strategies and contribute to achieving company-wide cost efficiency goals.
• Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers/vendors on daily basis for product sourcing/development.
• Sending testing samples to testing lab as per company/buyer testing guideline.
• Maintain detailed records of all project-related activities, including pricing, artwork revisions, any important or crucial information for records & file them on regular basis.

Requirement/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Experience as a Sourcing Merchandiser or in a similar role
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with global supply chain practices and regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices is a plus.
• Strong spoken & written English
• Proficiency in MS office
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
• The candidate will be required to commute to Manesar (Gurgaon) and living close by or having their own transport will be preferred.
