Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of large-scale, distributed systems using Go (preferred), or .NET/Java.
• Architect and optimize databases such as DynamoDB, Postgres, Aurora, and RDS (Expert level).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build cloud-native applications using AWS services.
• Utilize Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration tools to deploy and scale applications.
• Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and help improve overall team performance and capabilities.

Must-Have Skills:

• Go (preferred), or .NET/Java (Practitioner level).
• Expert-level experience with DynamoDB, Postgres, Aurora, and RDS.
• Proficiency in Angular (Practitioner level).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services such as Lambda and SQS (Practitioner level).
• Familiarity with modern development tools such as Goland, Lens, Minikube, Kubectl, Kustomize.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with AWS OpenSearch, SpiceDB, Kafka, Firehose, AWS IoT, Envoy, Apollo GraphQL, API Gateway, and Cognito (Practitioner level).
• Knowledge of additional backend technologies such as C++ and Java/C#.
