Sencha ext.js Developer

Position: Contract to Hire(C2H)

Location: Pan India(WFH)

Notice period: immediate Joiners

Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of a legacy Ext JS 4 application to Ext JS 7.x.
• Analyze existing application code, identify compatibility issues, and implement fixes during the upgrade process.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in Ext JS development and maintain application performance, functionality, and stability post-upgrade.
• Collaborate closely with the team to mentor and guide less experienced developers in Ext JS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges encountered during the migration process.
• Conduct thorough testing of the migrated application to identify and address bugs or compatibility issues.
• Document the migration process, including changes made to the application for future reference.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of proven experience with Sencha Ext JS development, preferably with experience in Ext JS 4 and newer versions.
• Strong understanding of the Ext JS component architecture, event-driven programming, and theming system.
• Experience in upgrading or migrating legacy Ext JS applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and performance optimization techniques in Ext JS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight timelines.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
