Client Engagement and Delivery:
Manage client relationships and ensure end-to-end execution of deliverables with a focus on quality and timeliness.
Provide advisory services on mergers, demergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, inbound and outbound structuring, and family arrangements.
Conduct detailed due diligence for targets and transactions.
Collaborate with other advisors and professionals to deliver seamless client solutions.
Regulatory and Government Interactions:
Handle interactions with government authorities and address compliance requirements.
Provide insights into regulatory frameworks, including Direct Tax, Corporate Laws, Stamp Duty, FEMA, and SEBI regulations.
Business Development:
Identify business opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.
Support partners and directors in developing strategies for client acquisition and retention.
People Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
Allocate resources effectively to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
Reporting and MIS:
Prepare and manage MIS reports to track project progress and key metrics.
Provide updates to senior leadership on engagements and business development initiatives.
Educational Qualification:
Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), or LLB with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in M&A Tax.
Technical Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of Direct Tax, Corporate Laws, Stamp Duty, FEMA, and SEBI regulations.
Proven track record in handling mergers, demergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring.
Key Competencies:
Excellent client management and business development skills.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in MS Office and report writing.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ownership and responsibility of delegated tasks and client deliverables.
Strong commercial and financial market awareness.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Effective people management and team mentoring capabilities.
Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams within and outside the organization.
