Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated PHP Full Stack Developer Manager to lead our development team. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise in PHP, PostgreSQL, and Yii2, along with excellent leadership and project management skills. As the PHP Full Stack Developer Manager, you will oversee the development process, ensure best practices are followed, and manage a talented team of developers. You will also be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software, applying Agile methodologies, and driving continuous improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of PHP full-stack developers, guiding them to grow in their roles and enhance their technical skills.
• Project Management: Lead the execution of projects by planning, coordinating, and ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Oversee the Agile process, manage sprints, and facilitate retrospectives, planning, and daily stand-ups.
• Full Stack Development Oversight: Ensure the development team is adhering to best practices for full-stack development, including PHP, PostgreSQL, and Yii2. Help the team with complex technical issues, and set coding standards.
• Architecture & Design: Work with the team to design scalable and efficient application architectures. Lead the design and development of new features, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other teams such as Product, QA, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to ensure the development meets business objectives.
• Agile Process Management: Manage the Agile development process (Scrum/Kanban) and implement Agile methodologies, ensuring the team works effectively in sprints and delivers high-quality results.
• SDLC Management: Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and design to testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Quality Assurance & Code Reviews: Ensure code quality by establishing best practices for coding standards, code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and address performance issues, bottlenecks, and system optimizations for both frontend and backend.
• Strategic Planning & Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding the progress of projects, resource allocation, and team performance.
• Version Control & Repository Management: Manage GitHub repositories, ensure proper branching strategies, and lead collaborative development efforts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, and experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Other PHP Frameworks: Experience with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) in addition to Yii2.
• Agile Certification: Scrum Master or other Agile certifications are a plus.
• Experience in Scaling Systems: Knowledge of performance tuning, scalability techniques, and large-scale application deployment.
