Industrial Electronics Sr. Engineer (Freelancer)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design electronic installations and systems tailored to specific industrial requirements.

2. Prepare detailed Bills of Materials (BOM), including brand recommendations and tentative costing for hardware and associated services.

3. Install and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for controlling industrial machinery.

4. Test, troubleshoot, and update electronic systems, components, and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

5. Install, configure, and integrate HMI systems with PLCs for seamless operations.

6. Set up signalling and networking to control specific machine operations effectively.

7. Integrate electronic systems with other software-based systems for enhanced functionality.

8. Execute the above activities on a project basis, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.

9. Apply basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computer programming to solve multidisciplinary challenges.

10. Utilize design and analysis software to develop and refine system designs.

11. Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related engineering field (preferred).
• Extensive experience in PLC programming and HMI configuration.
• Proficiency in using design and analysis tools like AutoCAD, MATLAB, or equivalent software.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with computer programming and software integration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
