Manager - Finance

Accounting / Taxation Functions

• Supervising the preparation and maintenance of statutory books of accounts as per Indian GAAP.
• Preparation of monthly unit-wise and consolidated balance sheet.
• Coordinating with Auditors for ensuring completion of Internal, Statutory and Tax Audits.
• Closely monitoring receivables follow up of major outstanding, overdue and pending/disputed cases
• Overall monitoring that all payments to be made to suppliers as per policy and managing accounts payable within the pre-set parameters.
• Supervision of Indirect Tax Matters, timely filing of all statutory returns, reply & appearing for various notices & information demanded by indirect tax authorities.
• Handling Direct Tax Matters such as scrutiny assessments including appearance before the Tax Authorities, Advance Tax Planning and co-ordination with consultants for statutory compliances.
• Ensuring correct & timely deduction of TDS, timely filing of TDS returns and issue of TDS certificate as per provisions of Income Tax Act, 1961.

Finance Functions

• Renewal & enhancement of fund based & non fund based working capital limits, preparation of Project report for raising Demand and Term loans and successfully raised funds from various Banks.
• Keeping track record & liasioning with banks for routine banking, establishing FLC/ILC, PBG & amendments in such instruments.
• Co-ordinate preparation of periodic reporting to banks and also review and reply bank auditors observations.
• Managing bill discounting / LC discounting / factoring facility.
• To manage Funds flows, Ratio analysis and its interpretations for effective decision making.

Management Information System (MIS)

• Monthly/Quarterly/Half yearly/annual reporting to the Management reflecting Net Sales, Cash flows, Profitability, Monthly expense report, Ageing Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting etc.
• Preparation of Budgets for Operational Expenditure and Capex with periodical reviews and Variance analysis.
