Mechanical Site Supervisor

The Mechanical Site Supervisor will oversee and manage the mechanical construction activities on-site for Oil & Gas EPC projects, with a strong focus on piping systems. This role requires technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to safety and quality to ensure project goals are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision

• Oversee the mechanical construction and installation of piping systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications, codes, and standards.
• Supervise piping fabrication, erection, and testing processes, including hydrostatic and pneumatic tests.
• Ensure all mechanical activities are executed according to approved plans and procedures.
• Project Execution
  
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure the timely delivery of piping materials and mechanical equipment.
• Monitor piping and equipment installation to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Quality Assurance
  
• Inspect piping systems, including welding, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), and fit-up checks, to ensure compliance with quality standards such as ASME, API, or relevant codes.
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams to address any quality-related issues or non-conformances promptly.
• Resource Management
  
• Allocate and manage resources, including manpower, tools, and materials for piping and mechanical installations.
• Track material consumption and plan procurement to avoid delays in piping works.
• Stakeholder Coordination
  
• Act as the primary on-site liaison between contractors, project managers, and clients for all piping and mechanical activities.
• Provide clear communication on progress, challenges, and mitigation strategies.
