Job Description
- Develop detailed piping layouts and designs in accordance with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Perform piping stress analysis and ensure designs meet safety and performance criteria
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process engineers, structural engineers, and designers to integrate piping systems into overall facility designs
- Prepare material requisitions, specifications, and technical bid evaluations for piping components and systems
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather essential data and ensure design feasibility
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters as required
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and isometric drawings
- Participate in design reviews and coordinate with clients and vendors to address technical queries and resolve issues
- Maintain awareness of industry trends, standards, and best practices to enhance design efficiency and quality
