Job Location: Ahmedabad & Bangalore.

The Firewall Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and managing FortiGate 2100F and other firewall solutions to secure enterprise networks. This role involves monitoring network traffic, implementing security policies, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity frameworks.

The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Fortinet firewall solutions, experience in Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) features, and knowledge of security protocols such as IPSec, SSL VPN, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and manage FortiGate 2100F firewalls across enterprise environments.
• Implement firewall policies, rules, NAT, VPNs (IPSec, SSL VPN), and application control.
• Monitor network security events, analyze logs, and respond to firewall-related incidents.
• Perform threat detection, deep packet inspection (DPI), SSL decryption, and intrusion prevention (IPS/IDS).
• Ensure firewall configurations comply with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI-DSS).
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, VPN failures, and firewall rule conflicts.
• Optimize firewall performance and implement high availability (HA) and failover mechanisms.
• Integrate firewalls with SIEM (e.g., Splunk, FortiAnalyzer), NAC, and security automation tools.
• Conduct firewall audits, rule reviews, and security assessments.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and firewall technologies.

Preferred Certifications:

• Fortinet NSE 4, NSE 5, or NSE 7 (Highly Preferred).
• CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCNP Security (Added Advantage).
