General Ledger & Compliance (Chartered Accountant)

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (India) with 3-4 years of experience to manage the financial operations for our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in book closure, compliances, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monthly Financials & Compliance:
   
• Prepare monthly financial statements under IFRS/US GAAP.
• Perform consolidation and reconciliation of financial statements with Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to review and close monthly books.
2. Audit & Reporting:
   
• Liaise with internal and external auditors for statutory and tax audits.
• Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
• Provide assistance in general ledger and accounts finalization.
• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and disclosures.
3. System Coordination & Financial Reporting:
   
• Work closely with the Oracle Fusion team for any system configurations related to financial operations.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with company-wide objectives.
4. Tax and Regulatory Compliance:
   
• Assist with GST compliance and any other tax-related filings and audits.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with local and international financial standards.
5. Insurance & Strategic Initiatives:
   
• Manage insurance renewals and ensure adequate coverage for the company.
• Support strategic initiatives and business decisions with financial insights and data.
6. Ad-hoc Tasks:
   
• Assist with any other financial operations or reporting-related tasks as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (India).
• Experience: 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in managing book closures, compliances, and audits.

• Preferred Experience:
• Experience working in a company of a similar size and operations to Trianz.
• Experience in a medium-sized audit firm is also highly valued.
• Experience in Oracle accounting applications and reporting.

• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of IFRS/US GAAP/Consolidation processes.
• Familiarity with financial systems (Oracle Fusion preferred).
• Working knowledge of GST and other taxation regulations.
• Expertise in financial reporting, general ledger management, and reconciliation.
