Job Description
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for working client. Your task will be to Create/manage snow pipe, python worksheet, python store procedure, SQL Store procedure, Create/schedule Task etc.
Responsibilities:
Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements on Snowflake.
Develop and Maintain Snowflake data ingestion pipelines.
Work closely with the team members to ensure given task is completed.
Collaborate with data analysts and other team members to understand data flow requirements and work on data related tasks.
Continuously Learn and stay updated with the latest advancements in Snowflake and data engineering techniques, sharing knowledge
and insights with the team.
Attend Client meeting and provide task update.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry standards throughout the data engineering process.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Good understanding of ETL/ELT Concepts or exposure with 3-5 Year experience.
Good understanding in Advance SQL Programming fundamentals with data manipulation with 3-5 Year experience.
Basic Understanding Data warehousing principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data patterns.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for data engineering and delivering solutions.
Basic understanding of any cloud platforms like Azure or AWS with Snowflake.
Preferred Qualifications:
Snowflake certification(s) in Data Engineering or related areas.
Good to have Knowledge with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting.
Good to have Knowledge in Banking Data/Domain.
Experience with Snowpark, especially with Python.
