Implementation Engineer

Overall responsibility:

The Data Engineer, Implementation will be a vital contributor to our growing team, working on multiple software projects across various clients and lines of business. This role is responsible for deploying software solutions and ensuring a smooth implementation. Key Responsibilities include ability to assess a client s technological needs and determine the appropriate hardware and software solutions. Collaborate with the Implementation Manager to discuss client requirements and priorities. Ensure new systems and software are effectively implemented and thoroughly tested for functionality. Maintain a strong focus on delivery, quality, and issue reporting, while prioritizing customer needs. Success in this role depends on sound judgment, and effective teamwork to drive proactive and efficient daily operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Install and configure software per the customer s requirements, through documented procedures.
• Work closely with project manager to ensure client commitments are met.
• Load data from source to target tables and complete initial troubleshooting of any load failures.
• Document and communicate enhancement requests and bugs on behalf of the client to the appropriate internal teams.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the standard implementation approach.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures, project requirements, and service level agreements through audits.
• Accountability in adherence to improve process and procedures of how solutions are implemented, across the various Trellance lines of business.
• The ideal candidate will be a hands-on qualified professional with some previous project and customer service experience.
• Be a partner to the team to help discover new opportunities to work together for mutual benefit.
• Have the ability to quickly understand the successful implementation products, servicing solutions, and troubleshooting client environments.
• Previous implementation experience with knowledge on how to successfully manage a project from inception to completion. They understand how to set and meet deadlines and other goals through expected outcomes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS ABILITIES

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of one to two (1-2) years of experience in a technical Implementation/Project Management field or any practical experience gained through internships, part-time jobs, or academic projects; alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of three to four (3-4) years of experience in a technical Implementation.

SQL: Strong knowledge of relational databases and querying large datasets using SQL. Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Microsoft SQL Server. - Required

Company / Industry Knowledge: Project delivery management experience with quantifiable achievements in B2B technology, software, data analytics, or payments companies is preferred. Experience with account management, client services, or consulting with credit unions, banks, or financial institutions is desirable.

Other Experience:

Knowledge of SDLC processes, metrics, and technical support techniques.

Experience using/implementing SQL Server, ETL tools, BI tools.

Ability to quickly grasp and understand technical system issues and their impact upon the underlying business process, resulting in quick resolution to high impact problems.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Role-based Skills: Excellent communication skills with key client stakeholders. Experience building and managing project plans in MS Project, delivering technical updates. Participate in meetings and effectively share information to project stakeholders. Able to work as part of a team, organizing and managing several projects simultaneously. Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills needed to solve problems; assess options, alternatives, and trade-offs.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project Professional, contact database, client support software, and CRM system skills.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
