Trek Bicycle is looking for an innovative Report Developer to join the Trek team. We are a small, agile team that enjoys the autonomy of a startup with the backing and experience of industry experts. The Report developer is responsible for supporting and developing reporting solutions that drive business efficiency and optimization.

As a developer, you will be directly responsible for your work, technical direction as well as technical standard. To be a successful employee you must also have the ability to effectively communicate with and work in a collaborative environment. You will be responsible for the delivery of high standard, quality reporting to drive business insights and efficiencies. You may engage with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.

You must be able to work with Business Intelligence Analysts and turn their story requirements into effective reporting, as well as ensure the overall quality and performance of reporting solutions, throughout report and dashboard development. Duties. Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI/SSRS. Monitoring and optimization of PowerBI reports. Conversion of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports to PowerBI.

Conversion of Microsoft Excel reports to PowerBI. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Power BI and SSRS reports. Optimize Power BI data models and queries for performance and scalability. Engage with stakeholders to gather and understand their reporting requirements.

Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Power BI / SSRS solutions. Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders to improve general data literacy and help enable reporting self service. Assist stakeholders in using reports and educating on solutions when needed. Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in Power BI.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in BI development. Understanding of BI concepts, data integration, data warehousing, data modelling. Responsible for taking on support rotation with guidance; analyze bugs that come into our ticketing system and resolves independently or create a developer bug. On-call support for mission-critical reporting.

Qualifications And Education Requirements. Must be able to work during office hours in various time zones as needed. Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related discipline. Ability to Demonstrate PowerBI Mastery.

Experience with DAX, SQL, and MDX (MDX is not required but useful). Power Query Mastery (knowledge and mastery of M language not required but useful). SQL Server Analysis Services. SQL Server.
