Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SSIS Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL, and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows to support data integration, transformation, and migration activities. This role requires deep technical knowledge of SSIS along with experience in SQL Server and cloud data platforms like Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions using SSIS to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Optimize and maintain SSIS packages to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data processing and analytics.
• Work with Snowflake to implement cloud-based data integration solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize ETL processes to improve performance, reduce processing time, and minimize costs.
• Maintain proper documentation for ETL processes, data models, and workflows.
• Monitor ETL jobs for failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies, implementing necessary fixes.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices when handling sensitive data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SSIS development for ETL processes.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Indexing, Query Optimization).
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data warehousing concepts, schema design, and performance tuning.
• Experience in data migration, data integration, and ETL pipeline development.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and data warehousing principles.
• Experience working with large datasets, data cleansing, and transformation techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their integration with Snowflake is a plus.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot SSIS package failures, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps, or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or AWS Glue as a complementary ETL tool.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data integration.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
