Praxien Tech - SSIS/SQL/Snowflake Developer (7-8 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SSIS SQL Snowflake Developer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering and ETL processes. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in SSIS, SQL, and Snowflake, with the ability to develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes efficiently. This is a remote, short-term (3 months) contract position with a competitive budget of 1.4 LPM.

Key Responsibilities :

ETL Development : Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS to integrate data from multiple sources.

Database Management : Optimize and manage SQL databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity.

Snowflake Expertise : Implement Snowflake data warehousing solutions, including schema design, performance tuning, and data migration.

Data Integration : Extract, transform, and load data efficiently between various sources and destinations.

Performance Optimization : Monitor and enhance SSIS, SQL, and Snowflake processes to ensure scalability and reliability.

Troubleshooting & Debugging : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, errors, and data discrepancies.

Collaboration : Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and data engineers to understand requirements and deliver optimized solutions.

Security & Compliance : Ensure adherence to security policies, data governance, and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong expertise in SSIS for designing and managing ETL workflows.

- Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

- Deep knowledge of Snowflake including Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and best practices.

- Experience in data warehouse solutions and data modeling concepts.

- Ability to optimize ETL processes for efficiency and scalability.

- Experience with cloud data platforms and integration tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

- Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation.

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data deployment.
