Role & responsibilities

In depth understanding of Snowflake architecture and cloud technology.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Snowflake multi-cluster size and credit usage.
• Design and implementation of Snowflake security models using RBAC and DAC.
• Management of Snowflake user onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Implementation of secure data sharing between accounts.
• Experience with Snowflake features such as zero-copy cloning, time travel, and failsafe.
• Setting up resource monitors for warehouse monitoring.
• Designing and maintaining Snowsight dashboards for visualizing data metrics.
• Automation of administrative tasks using procedures and tasks.
• Development of Streamlit web applications.
• Proficient in AWS services including S3, IAM, SNS, and SQS.
• Documentation of processes, best practices, and guidelines related to tool usage and data observability.
• Ability to execute tasks as directed, with strong technical acumen.
• Excellent communication skills for both internal and external (business team-facing) interactions.
• Quick learner, capable of cross-training on other technologies
• Ability to provide guidance to team members with a solid understanding of all technologies owned
• Passionate about diving deep into complex issues.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Jira for technical work planning as directed by the team
