API Support Executive

Job Overview:

As an API Support Executive, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients integrating with our APIs. You will act as the main point of contact for API integration related inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth integration process. Your role will involve collaborating with internal teams, understanding clients' needs, and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Support: Provide technical support to clients integrating with our APIs, including answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and guiding them through the integration process.
• Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to API integration and usage, working closely with clients to understand their issues and provide effective solutions.
• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for API Integration related inquiries, maintaining clear and effective communication with clients via email, phone, and chat.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including development, product management, and sales, to understand client needs and ensure seamless API integration and support.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor API usage and performance, identify potential issues, and provide regular reports to management on support activities and client feedback.
• Feedback: Collect and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement in API functionality, documentation, and support processes.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API support and integration, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Education: Any Bachelors degree, however Bachelor with Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field will be added advantage.
• Experience: Previous experience in technical support, API support, or a related role is preferred.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with a client-focused approach and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
