As the Infrastructure Head at Trask, you will lead and oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure, ensuring it runs smoothly, efficiently, and reliably. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute strategies that align with Trasks business goals, maximize productivity, minimize downtime, and provide a secure and scalable infrastructure for the organizations success.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Infrastructure Strategy Development: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement a strategic plan for Trasks IT infrastructure, aligning it with the companys short-term and long-term objectives. 2. Infrastructure Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze Trasks existing infrastructure, identifying opportunities for optimization, expansion, and the implementation of emerging technologies. 3. Infrastructure Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Trasks infrastructure, including network, hardware, servers, virtualization, storage, and cloud-based environments. 4. Team Leadership: Build, manage, and mentor a team of infrastructure professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution and continuous improvement. 5. Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain robust security practices to safeguard Trasks infrastructure against potential threats and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. 6. Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with infrastructure vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure the provision of high-quality services and support. 7. Budgeting and Cost Management: Collaborate with the finance department to prepare and manage the infrastructure budget, optimizing costs while maintaining operational efficiency. 8. Disaster Recovery Planning: Lead the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans, ensuring minimal disruption to Trasks operations in the event of a disaster or unforeseen circumstances. 9. Technical Consulting: Provide insights and recommendations to other business units on technology infrastructure-related matters, ensuring alignment with Trasks overall IT strategy. 10. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of the infrastructure environment, procedures, and systems. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on infrastructure status, project progress, and upcoming initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus. - Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, preferably in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud technologies, and security systems. - Sound understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and best practices. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and emerging technologies. - Strong project management skills and experience in executing multiple projects simultaneously. - Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, and PMP are desirable.
