As the Deputy Manager of Vendor Development at Trask, you will play a crucial role in the growth and success of our company. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and onboard new vendors, as well as develop and maintain relationships with existing ones. You will work closely with our sales and procurement teams to ensure that our vendors are meeting our quality and cost standards.
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Identifying and researching potential new vendors that align with our companys needs and values
- Negotiating contracts and terms with new and existing vendors
- Monitoring and evaluating vendor performance and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure that vendors are meeting our quality and cost standards
- Developing and implementing strategies to improve vendor relationships and drive vendor productivity
The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in vendor management and business development, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills. They will be highly organized and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, a bachelors degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

Must have hands on experience on development of Electrical/Electronics and Proprietary parts.
Must know the development process/requirements for the development of proprietary parts.
Should have good communication skill.
Responsible for leading the solution for supplier component concerns.
Driving Advanced Product Quality Planning APQP and Validation PROCESS as per Specs.
Desirable Skills -
Product Costing, Supplier Management, child parts, smooth supplies, Productivity Management, Quality Inspection.
