Experience: 10+ Years

Experience into global logistics operation is must. Candidate having experience into chemical industry will be preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Export shipment planning process as per incoterms and customer orders – right from cargo readiness to shipment and B/L release - from multiple loading ports in India.

To meet monthly export dispatch targets – from manufacturing plants. Follow up with shipping companies and forwarding agents for bookings.

Follow up with forwarding agent and CHA's for timely gate in the port and advance loading list send to shipping co.

Timely update shipment status in the system

Coordination with Customer service teams for shipment updating to customers.

Coordination with material planners, dispatch teams, QC teams at plants. Coordination with CHAs, transporters, freight forwarders, shipping lines, third party inspection agencies. Resolution of issues related to shipments with customs, shipping lines, CFS, other allied agencies.

Ensure export/import laws and regulations in the importing ports at respective destination countries are adhered to.

Responsible for KPIs related to timely delivery and shipment costs. Provide advance container volume forecast to shipping lines, CHA's, Transporters.
