Business Development - Logistics

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enquiries & Freight Sourcing:

• Source freight rates for dry and OOG equipment from shipping lines, NVOCCs, and vendors.
• Obtain air freight rates from third-party vendors based on customer requirements.
• Source customs clearance charges as required for both dry and OOG equipment.

2. Quotation Management:

• Prepare and send quotations to existing customers, pipeline customers, agents, and internal teams for both dry and OOG equipment.

3. Documentation Handling:

• Prepare factory de-stuffing indemnity bonds and release House Delivery Orders.
• Dispatch original documents for air/sea export and import shipments to customers.
• Maintain original documentation for shipments, audits, and new customer KYC.
• Coordinate with internal teams to prepare BL drafts, VGM for exports, and ensure proper documentation is sent for form-13 processing.

4. Customer Service & Shipment Coordination:

• Exports:
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, agents, and liners for export shipment processes (booking, customs, transport, etc.).
• Ensure smooth execution of shipments and monitor customer MTO system profiles.
• Process payment requests for vendors, agents, and internal teams.
• Send draft invoices and process tax invoices after customer approval.
• Track shipments based on Incoterms and follow-up on payments.
• Imports:
• Coordinate with agents, customers, and liners for import shipment execution.
• Handle CFS/DPD/SEZ movement requests and HBL Split manifest preparation.
• Process invoices and track shipments, ensuring timely follow-up on payments.

5. Business Development & Sales:

• Generate revenue from existing customers and onboard new clients.
• Collaborate with the projects department to support project-related logistics.
• Record daily sales calls, track monthly revenue, and maintain budget records in CRM.
