Overview :

We are seeking a young, talented and experienced IT Manager to manage our IT Department. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in IT systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) implementation, along with an understanding of the commercial aspects of business. Job Scope & Responsibilities :

Primary areas of responsibility and alignment will vary depending on the needs of the enterprise, yet could include :

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Implementation & Optimization

- Lead the implementation and customization of (D365 F&O) to streamline end to end business processes.

- Configure and maintain system parameters, workflows, and business processes within the D365 F&O Supply Chain Management suite.

- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proper data migration, integration, and customization in alignment with business objectives.

- Provide training, guidance, and support to key users and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

- Assist in the design, testing, and deployment of new functionalities and updates to D365 FO modules.

- Lead functional workshops and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets the client's expectations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, ensuring smooth operation of the supply chain processes post-go-live.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in D365 FO and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.

- Work closely with business teams to understand their requirements and configure Dynamics solutions that improve efficiency.

- IT Systems & Infrastructure Management, Networking & IT Security (Desirable)

- Oversee all IT systems, including network infrastructure, servers, workstations, and cloud-based solutions.

- Ensure proper configuration, optimization, and management of IT assets to meet organizational requirements.

- Proactively monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to minimize downtime and ensure seamless business operations.

- Ensure the organization's network infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable

- Administer network setups, including firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures to protect sensitive company data.

- Stay updated with the latest networking trends and technologies to keep the company's systems optimized and secure.

Team Leadership & Development :

- Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, setting clear goals, providing mentorship, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.

- Foster a collaborative environment, guiding team members to develop their technical skills and supporting their professional growth.

Commercial & Business Insight :

- Understand the core commercial and financial aspects of the business to provide tailored IT solutions that drive business growth.

- Analyze the impact of IT projects and solutions on the business, ensuring IT investments align with the company's objectives.

- Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement through IT solutions.

Sales Process Understanding :

- Gain a solid understanding of the basic sales process in a trading company, including sales order management, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.

- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure Microsoft Dynamics is properly integrated into the sales process, providing a seamless experience from order entry to delivery.

Financial Knowledge :

- Understand basic financial concepts and business metrics to ensure IT systems support financial operations such as invoicing, accounting, and reporting.

- Work with the finance team to ensure data integrity and proper integration of IT systems with financial software tools.

IT Asset Management :

- Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal, ensuring assets are tracked and properly maintained.

- Establish processes for IT inventory management and asset control to optimize resource usage and minimize wastage.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting :

- Provide high-level technical support for the organization's IT systems, ensuring rapid resolution of any IT issues.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

- 7-8 years of professional experience in IT systems management, with at least 2-3 years of experience working with D365 F&O.

- Proven experience in managing IT teams and systems within a commercial or trading company environment.

- Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize IT solutions that support business operations, particularly in a sales-driven and commercial setting.

- Familiarity with IT asset management, including hardware and software procurement, inventory management, and lifecycle tracking.

- Basic knowledge of financial operations, invoicing, and accounting principles as they relate to IT systems.

- Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and operations, to identify and implement IT solutions.

- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior business leaders and technical teams.
