Role & responsibilities

• Drive the execution of steel and PE projects at the city level
• Assist GA Head in providing inputs for network expansion
• Ensure all statutory approvals and RoU related documentation are in place
• Co-ordinate with PMCs for construction of pipelines
• Monitor and evaluate the PMCs work from a technical perspective
• Co-ordinate with external contractors for alterations/modifications in the charged network
• Drive the focus on quality of projects at the city level
• Coordinate with TPIs for quality assurance of the projects
• Ensure consistency in the adherence to the standard operating procedures and engineering standards as laid down by the corporate technical team
• Supervise installation of DRS through external contractors
• Obtain commissioning approvals for uncharged network
• Obtain necessary approvals and permissions for charging of pipeline
• Ensure that all O&M audits are conducted as per schedule
• Supervise the maintenance of O&M MIS
• Ensure patrolling of the entire network
• Supervise O&M of city gate stations
• Supervise O&M of the charged network
• Supervise meter reading of industrial customers and providing input for devising mechanisms to reduce line loss
• Provide final approvals for issue of permits for work in the charged network
• Ensure that all technical audits are completed as per PNGRB guidelines
• Conduct periodic network assessment and provide input for network expansion
• Ensure resolution of any emergencies that may crop up at the city level
• Coordinate with GA C&M for resolution of customer complaints
• Perform the role of a people manager for his team

Preferred candidate profile

Full time degree of BE - Mechanical or Petroleum

Minimum 18 years of experience in CGD industry
