Job Profile: Senior System Administrator

Experience: 10 to 15 yrs

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Advanced trouble shooting skills and identify the severity of the issue for windows and Linux
• Hands on Experience manage and troubleshoot VMware
• Quick and self-motivated to learn new technologies
• Ability to Resolving issues quickly and Prepare RCA
• Deep technical experience in infrastructure design, build and deployment, including private and public cloud, networking, connectivity, storage, virtualization, and identity.

Key Skills:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Windows-based server infrastructure.
• Monitor server performance, ensuring high availability and optimizing system resources.
• Plan and execute server upgrades, patches, and system migrations while minimizing downtime.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution for Windows server-related issues.
• Manage Active Directory (AD) services, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other core Windows services.
• Implement security best practices and maintain compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Maintain and support the integrity of Active Directory, Web Servers, Virtual Machines, SQL Servers & 3rd applications and Patch management
• Work with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V to manage virtual machines and clusters.
• Good knowledge on sever upgrades and migration of windows and linux systems
• Deep understanding of IIS Web Services
• Collaborate with the cloud team to integrate Windows-based services with public cloud Azure.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for Windows server infrastructure.
• Ensure regular backups of critical systems and data, performing periodic recovery tests

Must-Have

• Experience building and deploying resilient Infrastructure.
• Excellent working knowledge of using PowerShell for administrative tasks and troubleshooting
• Ability to maximize knowledge transfer through the production of high-quality process documentation. Strong problem investigation and diagnosis skills
• Good written and oral communication
• Certification on windows and linux is a plus

Good to Have

• Working knowledge of ITIL disciplines and Incident management process
• Microsoft Azure cloud fundamentals and know how.

Qualifications:
Any Graduate with B. E / B. Tech, MCA or equivalent degree with more than 8+ years relevant work experience.
