The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Director - Strategic Sales role to join our Sales & Marketing function based in Mumbai.
As the Director - Strategic Sales person , you will:
Ensure that Sales KPIs are met or exceeded at any time
Ensure return on sales investment (ROI) meets or exceeds target
Build new strategic customer target list (10-20 per-sales targeting top customers in the market)
Drive growth by ensuring appropriate collaboration within Strategic Sales and across product functions and branch/country/regional level
Implement, coordinate and follow up global and regional initiatives
Understand key competitors and provide market intelligence to provide market feedback and to develop company value proposition
Completion of presentations, proposals and tender responses to secure new business
Ensure Strategic opportunities follow the Tender Management process, including timely pre-RFQ strategy and alignment with Product and P&L owner
Ensure CRM pipeline supports strategic sales growth targets in terms of quantity and data quality is constantly above 95%
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need
15+ years of experience in Sales
Having knowledge of Freight Forwarding Industries and Business.
Should have experience in handling Global accounts.
Should have good knowledge in relationship building and handling both.
