Experience Required:
- 5+ years of B2B and B2C experience in sales and business development.
- Aviation or education industry is preferred.
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales and Business Development to lead our efforts in both B2B and B2C sectors within the aviation industry.
- This role will focus on establishing and nurturing relationships with parents and flying schools to drive business growth and expand our market presence.
- The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the aviation landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and business development strategies for both B2B and B2C segments.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with flying schools, parents, and other stakeholders in the aviation sector.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to promote our services and establish partnerships.
Sales Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to meet objectives.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities and areas for growth.
- Analyze customer feedback and market trends to refine offerings and improve customer satisfaction.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments internally and teams to align business strategies and enhance service offerings also lead the project-based trainings.
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to create mutually beneficial business opportunities.
Reporting and Data Metrics:
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, ongoing industry trends, and business development activities for business expansion.
- Utilize data analytics to track progress and inform decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the aviation or education industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing B2B and B2C sales initiatives.
- Strong understanding of the aviation market, including flying schools and parental engagement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
