Overview:


- The Business Development Head for our Media Agency plays a crucial role in driving growth and profitability through effective strategy and business development initiatives.

- This leadership position requires an individual with a solid understanding of the media landscape, strong networking abilities, and expertise in building and maintaining client relationships.

- By leveraging market research and insights, the Head will develop robust business plans aimed at capturing new opportunities and expanding existing accounts.

- The role is pivotal in identifying trends, assessing competitive dynamics, and positioning the agency for long-term success.

- The selected candidate will lead a dynamic team, foster a culture of innovation and growth, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that strategic objectives are met while delivering exceptional value to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies for client acquisition and retention.

- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities and market segments.

- Manage and cultivate relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

- Lead contract negotiations and close deals that align with the agency's objectives.

- Monitor industry trends and analyze competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to create impactful marketing campaigns.

- Prepare and present business proposals and reports to potential clients.

- Conduct market research to assess client needs and industry developments.

- Mentor and guide the business development team to achieve sales targets.

- Develop pricing models and service offerings aligned with client expectations.

- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

- Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the agency.

- Implement feedback mechanisms to gain insights into client satisfaction and service performance.

- Report on sales metrics, performance indicators, and progress to senior management.

- Stay informed on technological advancements affecting the media landscape.

Required Qualifications.

- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development, preferably in a media agency.

- Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and managing accounts.

- Strong knowledge of digital marketing and media planning functions.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to analyze data and utilize market insights for strategic planning.

- Experience leading and mentoring a sales team.

- Familiarity with CRM software and business intelligence tools.

- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Strong organizational and project management skills.

- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

- Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships.
