Job Description
- Orchestrate product development / configuration / maintenance within agile pod structures comprising of cross functional technology resources
- Own development / configuration / maintenance cost for respective products/offerings adhering to financial projections and ensuring profitability; capture scope of requirements & proposed timelines
- Ensure product related glitches and challenges are resolved within the defined turnaround time as per the defined service level agreements
- Supervise required product upgrades as we'll as the launch new versions of horizontal products
- Interface with stakeholders across the organization to mitigate any potential risks and product challenges
- Establish and supervise the software development process with highest quality levels
- Define goals and metrics for the product launch and product operationalization
- Set appropriate performance measurements for various engineering sub-functions and build a metrics driven team, baselining through continuous improvements
- Assist marketing and sales team to create materials that highlight product features & benefits
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices by participating in product technology conferences, referring to and writing white papers, thought leadership
- Required: Bachelors degree - BBA/B.Tech/B. Com
- Added Advantage -masters Degree - MBA (Prod Man)
- 10+ years of experience leading product technology teams with focus on project management
- Knowledge of software development methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA
- Ability to oversee code version control system
