Business Analyst - CSRD Reporting(10 Months, Fixed Term contract)

Role & responsibilities

Dedicated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) project. The primary objective of this role is to assist in the standardization, accuracy, and integration of CSRD KPIs across our organization. This is a project-based position focused on developing and managing a centralized repository of quantitative and qualitative data, which will be integrated with a system for efficient and accurate CSRD reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Standardization of CSRD KPIs: Collaborate with various stakeholders to agree on the quantitative data points corresponding to each of the CSRD KPIs. This involves ensuring consistency and accuracy across all metrics, which is crucial for reliable reporting and analysis. The analyst will need to understand the nuances of each KPI and work closely with different departments to align on definitions and measurement methods.
• Develop and Document Standard Definitions and Tracking Periods: Create and maintain standard definitions and tracking periods for CSRD KPIs, ensuring clarity, comprehensiveness, and consistency across the organization. This includes preparing professional Business Analysis documentation to capture user requirements, acceptance criteria, and testing documentation, as well as maintaining data dictionaries and catalogues to ensure good data quality in all deliverables.
• Data Collection and Repository Management: Gather all necessary information from various stakeholders and create a centralized repository of quantitative data from different functions. This involves coordinating with multiple departments to collect data, ensuring the data is accurate and complete, and managing the repository to keep it up-to-date. The analyst will also be responsible for maintaining data integrity and security.
• Collaborate and Prepare for System Integration: Work collaboratively in an agile approach with solution architects, UX designers, product owners, and delivery teams to ensure that solutions address business requirements. Additionally, define and build test strategies with business stakeholders, create test cases, and ensure the centralized repository aligns with the system's data table for efficient and accurate CSRD reporting.

Skills:

• At least 4-8 years overall experience preferably in Sustainability Reporting with exposure to Business insights, analysis and reporting
• Graduation (must), preferably in Commerce or Economics, MBA or equivalent qualification (preferred)
• Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in sustainability or corporate reporting projects.
• High degree of proficiency in MS Power Point including ability to develop clear, concise presentations
• High degree of proficiency in MS Excel (strong knowledge of pivot tables, power pivot, data sorting, filters, etc).
• Proficient in use of other Microsoft apps such as Word, Visio and Teams preferred.
• Business and commercial acumen in conjunction with ability to navigate the internal organisation to facilitate action and/or information on initiatives
