Sales Director Wedding Division

Hotel The Raj Palace is a luxury heritage hotel located in Jaipur, offering a majestic venue for weddings and special events. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Director for the Wedding Division to lead the sales team, develop strategies, and drive revenue for our wedding and events business.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales Strategy:

Develop and execute the sales strategy to drive wedding bookings and revenue at Hotel The Raj Palace.

Identify and target new wedding clients, including high-profile clients, destination weddings, corporate events, and local clientele.

Build and maintain strong relationships with wedding planners, event coordinators, and influencers to promote The Raj Palace as a premier wedding venue.

Analyze market trends and competitors to refine pricing strategies and enhance market positioning.


Team Leadership & Management:

Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to ensure the achievement of individual and team sales targets.

Conduct regular performance reviews, training sessions, and motivational activities for the team.

Foster a collaborative work environment and ensure a high standard of professionalism in all client interactions.


Client Relationship Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for high-profile wedding clients, providing personalized service to ensure seamless event planning.

Oversee the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to contract negotiation, and ensure client satisfaction throughout.

Coordinate with various departments (catering, events, decor, etc.) to deliver exceptional service for each wedding.


Revenue & Budget Management:

Develop and manage the wedding divisions sales budget, ensuring targets are met while optimizing resource allocation.

Monitor and report on the performance of wedding bookings, including revenue generation, booking patterns, and market share growth.

Propose and implement promotional offers to attract wedding clients during peak and off-peak seasons.


Marketing & Promotion:

Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional campaigns to attract wedding clientele.

Represent The Raj Palace at wedding expos, bridal fairs, and networking events to generate leads and promote the brand.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and event planners to enhance visibility.


Event Coordination & Execution:

Oversee the execution of wedding events, ensuring a flawless experience for clients and their guests.

    • Work with the operations team to ensure all wedding requirements (venue setup, catering, decor, entertainment, etc.) are met.
    • Resolve any client concerns or issues promptly and efficiently to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in a sales leadership role, with at least 3 years focused on weddings or event sales in the hospitality industry.
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
  • Strong Sales & Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, particularly in the wedding or luxury hospitality market.
  • Leadership: Ability to motivate and manage a diverse sales team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-Focused: Exceptional client relationship-building skills and ability to understand client needs, offering tailored solutions.
  • Creativity & Innovation: Ability to innovate and develop unique wedding packages and experiences to attract diverse clientele.
  • Cultural Awareness: Understanding of cultural sensitivities and the ability to handle multi-cultural weddings and events.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
