Oversee the Financial reports, taxation both direct and indirect, cash flows, other compliance, treasury, long term and short term financing, revenue and related expense reporting for company, thereby ensuring control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of results, The role will also involve managing a team and handling different functions in finance.
Main Responsibilities:
1) Financial Reporting:
a. Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses in line with IND AS.
b. Liaison with statutory auditor and ensure timely completion
c. Ensure accurate book keeping in SAP and ensure preparer financial controls
d. Prepare & review variance analysis on a monthly basis and present to the VP Finance the monthly dashboard.
e. Ensure that the monthly closing of books of accounts, including reconciliations and adjustments.
f. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations affecting the organization.
g. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
h. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards in financial reporting practices.
i. Ensure proper and effective treasury management.
2) Treasury / Manage Banking operations:
a. Oversee all banking activities, including Account Management, Transactions, and Reconciliations
b. Manage forex / treasury function (derivative contract booking and settlement)
3) Taxation:
a. Review income tax return, complete assessments, audit along with the taxation team.
b. Review GST return and audit / assessment
c. Review TDS compliance and timely payments.
d. Review calculation and payment of advance tax
e. Review of Tax Audit and GST audit.
4) Cash Flow Management / Projections:
a. Develop and maintain accurate cash flow projections to support working capital management.
b. Analyze cash flow patterns, identify trends, and make informed decisions to optimize cash resources efficiently.
5) Team Leadership:
a. Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture
of high performance and continuous improvement.
b. Provide guidance on financial matters, promote collaboration, and contribute to the professional development of team members
Mandatory Skills IT skills - Knowledge in Microsoft Office especially Excel, PPT and SAP.
