Python Automation - Quality Engineering

About the role
As a Quality Analyst, you will be involved in every phase of SDLC and focus on Functional testability, Automation, and Performance of the software. More specifically, you will work on:
Developing Test Strategies, Preparing Effort Estimation, and Designing Test plans and Test cases effectively/independently
Designing and implementing automation for Web and Mobile applications.
Performing Test Execution and Reporting defects.
Collaborating with business consultants, data scientists, engineers, and application developers
Provide leadership and direction to the team in the implementation of test automation and Functional testing.

Desired Skills and Experience
Strong knowledge and experience in Manual Testing (Web, API).
Strong hands-on experience in Automation testing using Selenium with Python.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (Azure/Jenkins).
Strong Experience in building frameworks using Pytest or related Libraries.
Strong knowledge of Software Testing concepts and methodology.
Understanding different test metrics for the project. Be able to document and share test metric reports with the team and project management.
Must have SQL and database Knowledge.
Ability to learn and apply complex technical information to testing situations quickly.
Attention to detail and ability to effectively escalate issues and manage escalations.
Experience with Agile methodology.
Ability to handle multiple assignments at one time and meet delivery dates.
TestRail/JIRA knowledge is a plus.
Adaptability and attention to finalizing testing details and duties amidst aggressive time challenges.
Excellent written and communication skills.
