Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Engineer at Tiger Analytics located in Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad. The Data Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as data engineering, data modeling, ETL processes, data warehousing, and data analytics. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop data solutions to meet business requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python: Very strong skills in Python, with experience in building scalable and optimized applications with open-source libraries.
• Good understanding of Data Engineering concepts: Experience and understanding of designing and maintaining the data pipeline automations, Ingestion, data processing, optimizations ..etc.
• Data structure & modelling
• Data quality and governance
• GenAI Experience:
• Hands-on expertise with LLMs
• Prompt engineering
• Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques
• Finetuning Open source LLMs
• Familiar with agentic solutions, LangGraph (or similar frameworks)
• Experience with vector databases and embeddings, relational database, object storage
• Experience with Cloud & Platforms (Good to have): Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure and Databricks
• Dynamic mind, Proactive, eager to learn and pick-up new tech very quickly.
