Job Description

- Understand functional test requirements from both product and customer perspectives.

- Develop test scenarios based on requirements and convert them into functional and automated test cases.

- Enhance and execute functional test cases, analyse test results, and provide regular reports.

- Create automated test scripts to improve test automation coverage.

- Enhance the automation framework.

- Collaborate with various scrum teams to gather requirements for functional and automated testing.

Required Qualifications:

- 2-5 years of experience in both automated and functional testing.

- Ability to understand complex systems and identify, write, and execute edge cases in both functional and automated testing.

- Strong coding skills.

- Proficient in writing scripts for the product using a scripting language specifically developed for that product, e.g. OB code.

- Solid experience and knowledge of SDLC and STLC.

- Proficient in writing test cases for various test types (System, Regression, Smoke, Sanity etc.)

- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium with Java and WebDriver.

- Experience in working with power shell scripting.

- Good experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and defect prevention techniques.

Good to Have Skills:

- Experience in an Agile development environment.

- Familiarity with Groovy scripting, or any other scripting language.

- Understanding of the BDD-Cucumber framework.

- Working knowledge of APIs and RESTful web services testing.

- Knowledge of Postman and Swagger documentation.

- Hands-on experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, VSTS).

- ISTQB certification is a plus

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
