General Overview

• The Content Writer position will be responsible to work with our THORS India Program Manager to create the content for eLearning courses on manufacturing topics.
• The Content Writer will be required to speak and write fluent American English. The applicant will also assist the U.S. team and working with a Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Graphic Designers to compile a technical content using our THORS standard format.

Key Responsibilities

• Create written content for online custom courses within the manufacturing industry
• Create written content in the THORS format which includes a course Outline, Table of Contents, Learning Objectives, Course Content, and Quiz Questions
• Conduct research if necessary to deliver technically accurate content
• Interview and work with India customers to develop custom courses content and identify visual assets for that content
• Review and/or edit written content to ensure it conforms to company methodology, is layperson friendly, and is well written.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deliverable deadlines

Other Responsibilities

• Keep accurate record of time in our time tracking program
• Be flexible and work as a team player to jump into other projects as needed
• Be able to take constructive criticism well
• Be able to make multiple changes when requested
• Work quickly and efficiently

Requirements

• Years of Experience 0-2 years
• Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, or related field
• Speak and write fluent American English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent grammar skills
• Must be able to understand technical material and develop layperson-friendly, original content
• Must be able to maintain consistency across all parts of the provided content
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work within THORS company guidelines and standards
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn
• Detail oriented and organized
• Deadline oriented
