About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Transition Manager to lead the seamless transfer of critical Commercial Analytics processes from onshore to our offshore team in Hyderabad. This role is pivotal in ensuring the continuity and optimization of our analytical operations, driving efficiency, and delivering valuable insights to our commercial teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, extensive experience in commercial analytics, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex transition projects.
Responsibilities:
End-to-End Transition Management:
- Lead the complete lifecycle of transition projects, from initial assessment and planning to execution, stabilization, and handover.
- Develop comprehensive transition plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk mitigation - strategies, and communication protocols.
- Ensure adherence to project milestones and deliverables, proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.
Commercial Analytics Expertise:
- Oversee the transition of diverse commercial analytics processes, including:
- Insights and Analytics: Market research, competitive analysis, trend identification, and reporting.
- Customer Facing Analytics: Customer segmentation, targeting, profiling, and customer journey analysis.
- Salesforce Effectiveness: Incentive compensation design and administration, sales performance analysis, segmentation, profiling, positioning, and omnichannel analytics.
- Ensure the transitioned processes maintain or improve data quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams, including commercial leadership, analytics teams, IT, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and knowledge transfer between teams.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the transition process.
Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge:
- Apply a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and sales and marketing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization during the transition.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the quality of analytical outputs.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with the transition.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of transition plans, processes, and outcomes.
- Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Statistics, Life Sciences).
- Mandatory: Master of Business Administration (MBA) from a recognized institution.
Experience:
- 13 to 20 years of progressive experience in transition management, with a focus on commercial analytics.
- Mandatory: Extensive experience leading end-to-end transitions of commercial analytics processes within the pharmaceutical industry or for pharmaceutical clients.
- Mandatory: Proven experience transitioning processes from onshore to offshore environments.
- Mandatory: Previous experience as a Transition Manager or Project Manager in Commercial Analytics within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales and marketing data and analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Salesforce platforms and associated analytics is highly desirable.
