Job Description:
- Based at our Mumbai office, the Travel Team Manager will be responsible for owning the operations of corporate travel for our global organization.
- Someone who will manage travel vendor relationships, ensure exemplary customer service regarding all things corporate travel, partner with our internal teams to align on budgets and compliance, and manage a team of Coordinators.
Reporting to the Head of Real Estate, the main responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:.
- Provide exceptional service to key stakeholders with planning and booking business trips.
- Ensure all trips are in line with travel policies and insurance.
- Maintain relationships with vendors, travel partners, and other stakeholders.
- Work with Property leadership to allow finance to have full oversight of spend, and to help align future budgets targeted with a 20% saving across the 1st year for Third Bridge overall spend, and also ensure accurate recording to allow reclaim of taxes more efficiently across the business (VAT as an example in the UK).
- Partner with the team for CO2 returns such as Ecovadis and science-based targets offsetting where available (i.e.BA scheme).
- Managing travel insurance claims to ensure all due funds are received back for delays, cancellations, missed flights, etc.
- Arrange travel visas for international travel.
- Input trip details onto our 3rd party system, International SOS, as part of our H&S policy and to allow Finance to track for taxable reasons.
- Educate employees regarding the cancellation policy, refunds, or any penalties.
- Stay informed about travel trends, regulations, and industry-related news to offer the best possible service.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a corporate travel consultant , travel agent, or similar role with an exceptional customer service record.
- Expertise in corporate travel.
- Meticulous planner with attention to detail with bookings, payments or other travel-related requirements.
- Excellent communication and managing skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in research and writing (local and international travel arrangements).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple client bookings.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
