Roles and Responsibilities: Head of Purchase & Project department

Tomeet revenue targets on quarterly basis ensuring smooth execution of all ordersbetween different functions Sales , Engineering, Purchase , Projects, Commercial, Exim and stores logistics.

EnsureOn time performance is greater than 90%

A- Planning Function

Monitorand review planning process to meet the OTP target as per QAP, packingguidelines.

Toimprove the effectiveness of planning systems

For any deviation , ensure plan of action

Supportto sales team for shorter delivery orders like break down cases and criticalshut down planned cases.

B Purchase Function

To meet the targeted OTP

Toensure cost is within the provided budget

VendorManagement, development.

C-Projects , Commercial, Exim , Stores , logistics

Ensurerelease of monthly plan, weekly reviews for getting timely dispatches.

Ensure timely escalation of defaults in the monthly plan and takenecessary action .

Reviewcustomer complaints and plan actions for timely resolution of complaint

Ensure timely cash collection every month, maintain above 90 days AR to zero.

Responsiblefor on time delivery to customers

Critical Competencies for the Job:

Knowledge ofproducts (Air pollution control equipments) , thorough knowledge of Planning , purchase , commercial and manufacturing processes.

Excellent incustomer handling Relationship management Support to customer.

Effectivecommunication skill. ---Verbal and written.

Strongleadership & managerial skills with experience in managing teams ofdifferent functions.

A Proactiveapproach and focus on continuous improvement of above functions.

Should bevery good in collaboration with all functions. ---Very good inter personnelskills.

Knowledge ofERP, MS office, Microsoft project and finance & commercial auditcompliances.
