Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee financial operations, manage accounting, and provide accurate, data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.

The Accounts Manager will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial reports, overseeing budgetary controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing our accounting processes to support business growth.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical thinker with strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key metrics and insights for senior management.

- Conduct variance analysis to track financial performance against budgets and forecasts.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Coordinate the annual budgeting process and work closely with department heads to develop financial forecasts.

- Monitor budgetary compliance and provide recommendations for optimizing financial resources.

Accounts Receivable/Payable Management:

- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.

- Implement credit control policies to minimize outstanding debts and improve cash flow.

Audit and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations, policies, and procedures.

- Lead internal and external audit processes and address any findings or recommendations.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and company standards.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.

- Set performance goals, conduct regular performance evaluations, and foster a positive team environment.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes, implementing best practices, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.

- Work with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and support business initiatives.

Relationship Management:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, procurement, and operations, to provide financial insights and support.

- Maintain relationships with external partners, including auditors, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA/CMA certification is preferred).

- Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Tally software.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.

- Attention to detail and high ethical standards.
