Key responsibility :
Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations, policies, and industry standards for a variety of sectors, with expertise in at least 5 different industries.
Develop checklists, standard templates, and guidelines to assist clients in adhering to various certification processes, including climate disclosure frameworks, sustainability reporting, and industry-specific certifications.
Monitor and ensure compliance with all environmental regulations, including documentation, reporting, permits, manifests, and audits for different management systems (ISO compliance, Corporate EHS standards, etc.).
Conduct risk assessments, environmental audits, and implement compliance measures in accordance with industry-specific regulations.
Address internal and external stakeholder queries efficiently, ensuring high-priority requests are resolved in collaboration with team leads.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records in line with defined formats and timelines.
Contribute to ECSs Impact Assessment and Planning services across environmental, social, and health impact assessments, facility siting, permitting, and social/economic services.
Lead and provide technical input for consulting engagements in impact assessments, technical disciplines, and multi-media permitting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth, client management, and service delivery.
Draft project proposals and scopes, develop project timelines, and ensure the successful implementation and delivery of projects as per client requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Masters in environmental science or engineering, social sciences, planning, or related field.
Expected to have 3-4 years of environmental consulting experience, preferably working on Due Diligence, Liability Assessment, Regulatory Reviews, Compliance Assessment
Knowledge and/or interest in corporate sustainability, sustainable finance and/or ESG data & analytics
In-depth knowledge of environmental and social compliance regulations and policies across multiple sectors.
Proven experience in developing industry-specific compliance checklists and templates.
Strong understanding of ISO standards, management systems, and set of certification processes.
Ability to conduct risk assessments, audits, and implement compliance programs.
Strong project management skills, including proposal drafting, timeline development, and project execution.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to handle high-priority requests.
Collaborative team player, with experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams and cross-functional engagements.
Proficiency in regulatory documentation, reporting, and permitting processes.
