Chief Executive Officer - Newly started wealth business of reputed group. Reporting to the Board, this role is based in Navi Mumbai.
Job Description:
Our client is the newly incubated wealth business of an established AMC business which has real estate as the underlying asset class. The AMC business has been in operation since the last 5 years and offers a next-generation real estate investing platform that combines the teams institutional investment experience, proprietary technology, and active risk management.
Their Wealth business is at its very nascent stage and just being started. In this business, my client intends to build a RE wealth franchise in India with focus on Real Estate as Wealth. In doing so, some of the products they have and are building would include.
- Distribution of real estate related Financial products in areas ranging from Residential, Commercial, Retail, New Age Living (Co-Living, Senior Living etc) as well as Hospitality and Data Centers.
- Products related to complete Monetization programs for Land Parcels and properties held by Large Family offices as well as UHNIs.
- Debt based products with real estate as the asset class.
- Distribution of 3rd party and co-branded products for Global Audiences.
- The business has 2 to 3 products near ready for End to End Monetization Land programs as well as the Technology Architecture ready for launching RE Wealth products to automate valuations of RE properties.
Role Details:
- The Chief Executive Officer would be responsible for building the Wealth business from ground up by defining and driving the strategy to establish the business, position it as a trusted wealth brand with a large book size and healthy P&L.
- The role would report to the Board and lead a team of function/vertical heads in functions such as product, relationships, technology and enabling functions.
Located in New Mumbai, this role would be expected to bring strong understanding of the wealth/private banking industry which includes some part of real estate.
Ideal Profile :
- The person would have 17+ years of experience who has been in CXO or National Head role for a company of strong repute in wealth management or private banking.
- Demonstrated strategic capabilities to envision and drive long term goals, be revenue driven to manage high paced growth and with strong leadership capabilities to drive highly skilled and young team of professionals.
- The person MUST have experience (an some relationships) in working with family offices and UHNIs and in managing real estate products and expertise in fund raising while presently managing a sizeable book size.
- The person must have managed or have sufficient credibility to manage P&L and build the firms and they own brand, including the ability to on board key resources.
- Persons with good education background in business management or finance from institutes of repute would be preferred.
