Job Description
The Mad Brains Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team. This role will primarily focus on manual testing with a basic understanding of automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our applications, detecting and reporting bugs, and verifying fixes. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, we d love to have you on our team!
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, usability, and consistency.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and issues accurately, following up on resolutions.
- Collaborate with development and design teams to understand project requirements and test objectives.
- Conduct regression testing to verify resolved issues and ensure new features haven t impacted existing functionality.
- Perform basic automation testing as needed to support the QA team and enhance test efficiency.
- Maintain test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test results, in an organized manner.
- bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (eg, Selenium) and a willingness to learn more.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and QA methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
- Prior experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Basic scripting knowledge for test automation (eg, basic Selenium or Python).
- Excellent communication skills for effectively reporting bugs and collaborating with team members.
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment
