Job Title : Manager / Dy. Manager / Asst. Manager Design

Division : Process Equipment Division (PED)

Work Location : Thiruvottiyur, Chennai-19

Experience : 5 to 20 years

Job Description:

1. Review Project Specification

2. Design Calculation using PV Elite software, Denis Moss Hand book, Spread sheet calculation

3. Detail Engineering.

4. PTS Preparation for Plates, Forgings, Fittings, Pipes, Gaskets etc.

5. Preparation of Material requirement BOM

6. Coordination with other Departments PPC, Fabrication, QA/QC, Welding & Client / EPCM /PMC.

7. Outside Design & Drafting Vendors co-ordination/ FEA Analysis co-ordination

8. Stad Pro Analysis, Nozzle pro analysis

9. Training of GETs for Design, Drafting

10. Prepare & Maintain ASME Code U stamp documentation

11. Prepare & Maintain ISO QMS stamp documentation

12. Attend client / PMC / EPCM / LSTK meetings

13. Reduce the reworks due to design faults

14. Expect to work the above activities for Pressure Vessels, Columns, Reactors, Boilers, Heat Exchangers & Structures.

15. Support Estimation team for new project bidding in terms of design

16. Ensure all client requirements are met while ensuring the Equipments weights. cost is within estimated budget.

Design & drafting of pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers, columns & reactors.
